Brazing – for durable, high-strength joints
Precision meets robustness
Brazing is used wherever joints with maximum stability are required. The result is components that withstand high mechanical, thermal, and corrosive loads. Typical applications are found in equipment manufacturing, mechanical engineering, and in production of pipelines, heat exchangers, and tight-fitting components.
Some advantages of brazing:
- Reliable joining of different materials
- Good gap-bridging capability
- Low distortion thanks to moderate brazing temperatures
- Cost-efficient method
How does brazing work?
Firmly bonded joints between metallic materials
In brazing, the components to be joined are first thoroughly cleaned and then heated to at least 450°C. The exact temperature depends on the type of filler metal and the materials used. In contrast to welding, only the filler metal is melted – not the base materials themselves.
Capillary action draws the liquid filler metal into the narrow gap between the components. There it wets the surfaces and forms a metallurgical bond with them. This fine brazed joint is created by diffusion processes that ensure a strong, dense and reliable connection.
After cooling, the filler metal solidifies and forms a dense, high-strength joint. Thanks to the relatively low temperatures, the workpieces remain largely free of internal stresses and exhibit minimal distortion.
Depending on the requirements, different types of filler metals can be used, such as filler metals containing silver for particularly strong, corrosion-resistant joints, or brass brazing alloys for high temperature demands.
- Working temperature by definition: >450°C (silver brazing alloys 610–750°C, brass brazing alloys >900°C)
- Heat source: Acetylene/oxygen, propane/oxygen

TIG, MIG/MAG welding
ARC WELDING
The TIG welding process is used when various materials are to be combined or thin sheets, such as aluminum or stainless steel, need to be welded. The technology is suitable for all metals. Are you looking for a technology to create integral joints between two metallic materials? We have extensive experience in brazing and provide the necessary equipment.
The MIG and MAG welding processes are very suitable for manufacturing or repairing heavy steel constructions, such as auto chassis and body fabrication. Wenn Sie Reparaturen oder Änderungen an den Bauteilen Ihres Motorrads oder Oldtimers auszuführen haben, wir übernehmen auch individuelle Aufträge.
Laser welding
FAST, EFFICIENT, HIGH-PRECISION
Laser welding is an innovative welding process for joining metal components. Energy is fed through a high-performance laser. Dank des hohen, fokussierten Energieeintrags auf kleinem Raum schmilzt das Material in Sekundenbruchteilen auf und erstarrt genauso schnell wieder. Depending on the order, and the functionality intended for the component, weld seams are made with or without welding filler. At our company, two different laser welding processes are used: pulsed laser welding and CW laser welding.
